Liverpool and Lancashire, 1934. This British Pulp Cthulhu adventure begins with a violent explosion at Liverpool docks and draws the heroes into a conspiracy involving missing military equipment, a secret organisation and a classified wartime project thought abandoned fifteen years ago. The investigation leads through hidden rail systems, sealed military installations and forgotten infrastructure before descending towards the Black Tide Engine itself beneath the coast.
Designed for 3–5 Pulp Cthulhu heroes, The Black Tide Engine is a four-act mini-campaign providing approximately 20–25 hours of play. It combines investigation, industrial horror and high-action adventure, with six pre-generated heroes, player handouts, maps, plans and Keeper reference material.
