About
Asland Chronicles
The world is full of forgotten places.
An abandoned railway disappearing beneath woodland. A ruined lighthouse standing alone against the tide. An old quarry, a forgotten village, a stretch of coastline where the sea retreats just a little further than it should.
Most people pass these places without a second glance. We stop and ask what happened there.
Asland Chronicles publishes atmospheric tabletop roleplaying adventures rooted in memorable places, buried histories and the strange possibilities hiding just beneath the familiar. Our current catalogue includes historically inspired Call of Cthulhu investigations set across Britain, Dragonbane adventures built around exploration and difficult choices, and the Pulp Cthulhu Strange Adventures line.
Many of our investigations explore places history overlooked: forgotten industries, lost communities, abandoned military projects and landscapes shaped by centuries of human ambition. Each adventure is designed to stand entirely on its own.
Yet observant Keepers may begin to notice recurring names, organisations and places. A newspaper clipping. An old government department. A familiar face. A stretch of coastline that seems to appear more often than coincidence would suggest.
None of these connections are required. Together, however, they can hint at something much larger.
Across generations, people have uncovered fragments of things they were never meant to find. Some sought to understand them. Others tried to control them. Most simply stumbled upon them by accident.
Whether you choose to experience each adventure individually or gradually uncover the deeper patterns running through the line, the choice is yours.
The greatest mysteries are rarely found in distant jungles or forgotten temples.
Sometimes they lie beneath places we thought we already knew.
Thank you for joining us on the journey.
